Empowering Youth, One Game at a Time

At We Ball In ISO, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through basketball. Our goal is to help young athletes develop skill, confidence, discipline, and character-both on and off the court. Through the game of basketball, and especially our exciting 1-on-1 competitions, we teach resilience, accountability, and leadership while providing safe, structured opportunities for kids to grow as players and as people.

Play Hard, Win Big, and Lift the Trophy

We host one-on-one basketball tournaments and thrilling March Madness-style competitions where children can play, compete, and have fun. The winning player earns a towering 4-foot trophy and the unforgettable opportunity to climb the ladder and remove the chains-an experience that celebrates achievement, teamwork, and pure joy.

Removing Barriers, Creating Opportunities

Our mission is to make basketball accessible to all. We remove barriers to participation by providing training, mentorship, competitions, and essential resources such as sneakers and equipment. Every child has a chance to play, grow, and succeed-no matter their background.

Lessons Beyond the Court

At We Ball In ISO, we emphasize personal growth through both winning and losing. Young athletes learn that success comes from hard work, self-belief, and perseverance. Every game is an opportunity to build character, embrace challenges, and take pride in personal progress.

More Than a Game: Building Tomorrow's Leaders

Through community-based programs, tournaments, camps, and outreach initiatives, we strive to inspire youth to believe in themselves, take ownership of their journey, and soar beyond their circumstances. At We Ball In ISO, basketball is more than a game-it's a platform to shape confident, disciplined, and resilient young leaders.

The Hector Paniagua Trophy

In 2024, We Ball in ISO introduced a very special annual tradition — The Hector Paniagua Sportsmanship Award — to honor the incredible spirit of giving, humility, and heart.

The award is named after Hector Paniagua, a talented D1 basketball recruit for the University of New Hampshire. Years ago, before a game, Hector noticed Gerald Auguste needed sneakers to play. Without hesitation, he handed Gerald his own pair and simply asked for them back before his own game.

Hector’s journey took an unexpected turn when he was struck by a stray bullet and paralyzed, but his sportsmanship and generosity continue to inspire us all.

Each year, during the We Ball in ISO Tournament, we present this award to one special young athlete who embodies Hector’s values — competing with integrity, helping others, and showing true love for the game.
